Warwick Audio Technologies Appoints a New Management Team to Commercialise HPEL Transducers

Following the successful demonstration of its new High-Precision Electrostatic Laminate (HPEL) Transducers at CES2016 and completion of a new funding round, the Board of Warwick Audio Technologies Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of a new senior management team.

Heading up the new team is Executive Chairman, Dr Mike Grant, a highly experienced technology business leader who has led the creation of a number of successful global technology businesses. These include a 200m user chat community, a 3D graphics business, and a major mobile games publisher.

Mike’s success has been based on a focus on strategy, product innovation, and market economics, successfully bridging the divide between customer need and technology development. Martin Roberts has been promoted from Commercial Director to CEO. Martin is an experienced sales and business development executive in the audio technology industry. He has over 20 years’ experience in senior roles within leading audio product companies, including ARCAM and transducer specialist, NXT. During his time at NXT, Martin spent five years based in both Asia and the USA where he was responsible for building highly successful relationships with leading brands in both the Consumer and Commercial Audio sectors.

Joining the company as CTO is Dan Anagnos. Dan has over 30 years’ experience in both leading the development of advanced audio technologies and in bringing premium audio products to market. Dan has held executive level R&D roles in a number of major brands including Sony Electronics, Boston Acoustics, D&M Holdings, Turtle Beach and Sound United. In these roles, he has led engineering and product development of a wide range of premium electro-acoustic audio products to market including loudspeakers, headphones and headsets.
